T.I vs. Michael Vick

We all have heard about the recent legal trouble both T.I and Michael Vick have found themselves in. It is unfortunate for both of these young men but something about these two cases really bothers me. Why is it that Michael Vick will serve 2 years in jail for dogfighting and T.I. who is a 2 time convicted felon will have to do community service and after that may do a year in jail. This is after he was busted for trying to buy illegal guns.
This man was trying to purchase machine guns and silencers. This bothers me on so many levels. It is not okay to fight dogs and you WILL do jail time but it is okay to have illegal firearms that could fall into the wrong hands and kill peple in our communities.
Now these were the guns found in T.I.’s house!!!
Now which do you think is worse?

while vick was wrong so was ti and i don’t think the punishment for ti was appropriate for his crimes.yes dogs died but is it better for people to die instead at the hands of ti’s weapons?

ok yes they both are bad…. but vick is a football player trying to make money, T.I. is a Gangster…. where vick would not have limits to what dogs he fought or how often or anything, T.I. was simply making sure his life was protected, he’s not going to go kill a bunch of innocent people, let’s be realistic with the matter

Vick was very Wrong. But T.I didnt do anything he bought Illeagal guns so what. who said he was going to kill anyone with them

the guns are cool. you have to protect family from harm, Especially with the elite status of a rapper. If more celebrities had guns, the papparazzi would not bother them, KUDDOS TI!!!!!

buying guns for protection vs. killing dogs…hmmm…which crime actually harmed a living thing? Not hard to figure this one out.
